Financial Policies

Please take a moment to read Dr. Pappagallo's financial policy. We are committed to having a successful doctor/patient relationship. Please understand that paying your bill is part of that relationship.

Fees:  Dr. Pappagallo's fees are comparable to those of other psychiatrists in Manhattan.  Please contact Dr. Pappagallo to discuss her fee schedule. 

Insurance: Dr. Pappagallo does not participate in any health insurance plans as an in-network provider, nor does she accept payments from insurance plans.  This allows her to see fewer patients, to spend increased time with each patient, and minimizes non-essential paperwork, thereby delivering higher quality health care.  She will be happy to provide you with an invoice which will serve as a Health Insurance Claim Form (HICF) to submit for "out-of-network" reimbursement.  In such a case, you will be reimbursed directly by your insurance company, and full payment is expected at the time of service.

Payment: Full payment is appreciated at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made with Dr. Pappagallo. The office accepts cash or checks as payment for medical services.

Cancellations:  Dr. Pappagallo has a 24 hour cancellation policy.  Missed appointments without 24 hours notice will be billed at the usual rate.
